The cultural activities of the municipality Igoumenitsa before and after the crisis (Bachelor thesis)

This project negotiates the cultural activities of the municipality of Igoumenitsa as occurred before and after the economic crisis in Greece. Initially, it reference to the culture and explores the concept of culture as part of local cultural policy, as expressed in modern times by the administrators and administer.Afterward, indicating the forms of exercise of cultural activity conducted in local government and referred are made to cultural organizations and their operation before and after the economic crisis that struck the country. Then a historical overview is presented in the Municipality of Igoumenitsa with focus on cultural heritage and made a detailed report to area attractions and cultural organizations operating in the region before and after the crisis.Finally, given the conclusions which emerged through the research on the cultural activities of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα εργασία διαπραγματεύεται τις πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες του Δήμου Ηγουμενίτσας όπως αυτές έλαβαν χώρα πριν και μετά την οικονομική κρίση στην Ελλάδα.
Αρχικά, γίνεται μνεία στον πολιτισμό και διερευνάται η έννοια του πολιτισμού στο πλαίσιο της τοπικής πολιτιστικής πολιτικής, όπως αυτή εκφράζεται στη σύγχρονη εποχή από τους διοικούντες και τους διοικούμενους. Έπειτα, αναφέρονται οι μορφές άσκησης πολιτιστικής δραστηριότητας στην τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση και γίνεται μνεία στους πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς και στην λειτουργία τους πριν και μετά την οικονομική κρίση, που έπληξε την χώρα. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται μια ιστορική αναδρομή στο Δήμο Ηγουμενίτσας με επίκεντρο την πολιτιστική της κληρονομία και γίνεται μια αναλυτική αναφορά στα αξιοθέατα της περιοχής και στους πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς που δραστηριοποιούνται στην περιοχή πριν και μετά την κρίση. Τέλος, παρατίθενται τα συμπεράσματα τα οποία προέκυψαν μέσα από την έρευνα στις πολιτιστικές δραστηριότητες του Δήμου Ηγουμενίτσας.
