Abstract

In this thesis analyzed the effects of the economic crisis in the health sector. Initially, a brief reference to the global crisis, the development and expansion into Europe, and Greece. The reports focus on the case of the Greek economy and a short overview of the Greek debt crisis occurs. Then analyzes focused exclusively on health, the necessary definitions and described the concept of recoverable health system. Furthermore, health systems are presented three major countries which are standards and systems in order to allow both classification and other comprehensive analysis of the Greek system. Of particular interest is the report on the impact of cuts and reforms in the Greek health system in shaping the health of citizens. In conclusion, reference is made to the budget of 2015 and the provisions contained in this for the costs related to the health system in order to give an overall picture for the next year, and a first estimate for the treatment to be received by the industry health in the coming years.
