The subject of this diploma thesis is the study of the smart campus and a detailed description of
the benefits that are provided not only at the student but also at the environment.The initial reference to the general concept of smart buildings and the deepening of the vision of a
campus with intelligence is the purpose of this work. In order to be able to study the intelligent
university, knowledge from several scientific fields must be combined. In the framework of this
work, all the necessary meanings for the understanding of the subject will be briefly described.

| Abstract: | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας αποτελεί η μελέτη του έξυπνου πανεπιστημίου
και η αναλυτική περιγραφή των δυνατοτήτων που προσφέρονται τόσο στους φοιτητές του όσο
και στο περιβάλλον.Η αρχική αναφορά στη γενικότερη έννοια των έξυπνων κτιρίων και εν συνεχεία η εμβάθυνση στο
όραμα μιας πανεπιστημιούπολης που διαθέτει ευφυΐα, αποτελεί τον σκοπό της συγκεκριμένης
εργασίας. Για να είναι εφικτή η μελέτη του έξυπνου πανεπιστημίου πρέπει να συνδυαστούν
γνώσεις από αρκετά επιστημονικά πεδία. Στα πλαίσια πραγματοποίησης της πτυχιακής θα
περιγραφούν συνοπτικά όλες οι απαιτούμενες έννοιες για την κατανόηση του θέματος.
