The purpose of this work is to make informed choice and consent to
maternity care. The choice of this theme follows the modern one
philosophy in the practice of human-centered health care and
in the case of obstetrics in particular, the family and the woman, and
as it is called family-centered and gynecological-centered care.In order to ensure this focus and integrate it into health care, strategies are implemented such as enabling health information recipients to receive information in a systematic and organized manner, as well as obtaining consent for the processes and plans of care to be provided. applied to support their health. Human rights follow these strategies and their empowerment is an important aim of quality in the health care offered and the satisfaction of its recipients and providers.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα εργασία έχει θέμα της την ενημερωμένη επιλογή και συγκατάθεση στη
μαιευτική φροντίδα. Η επιλογή αυτής της θεματολογίας ακολουθεί τη σύγχρονη
φιλοσοφία στην άσκηση της φροντίδας υγείας που επικεντρώνεται στον άνθρωπο και
στην περίπτωση της μαιευτικής συγκεκριμένα, στην οικογένεια και τη γυναίκα, και
όπως ονομάζεται οικογενειοκεντρική και γυναικοκεντρική φροντίδα. Προκειμένου να διασφαλιστεί η επικέντρωση αυτή και να ενσωματωθεί στη φροντίδα υγείας, εφαρμόζονται στρατηγικές όπως, είναι παροχή της δυνατότητας της ενημερωμένης πληροφόρησης στους αποδέκτες των υπηρεσιών υγείας και μάλιστα με συστηματικό και οργανωμένο τρόπο, αλλά και τη λήψη συγκατάθεσης για διεργασίες και πλάνα φροντίδας που πρόκειται να εφαρμοσθούν για την υποστήριξη της υγείας τους. Τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα ακολουθούν αυτές τις στρατηγικές και η ισχυροποίησή τους αποτελεί σημαίνοντα σκοπό της ποιότητας στην προσφερόμενη φροντίδα υγείας και την ικανοποίηση των αποδεκτών αλλά και των παρόχων της.
