E-Banking (Bachelor thesis)
Πασχαλίδου, Αμαλία
Traditionally, all banking operations were carried through with the use of ''paper'' in all its forms (applications, letters, contracts etc.). By the time automatic processing of personal data emerged, the traditional use of paper -as the basic tool for banking operations- has been gradually decreased and is expected to be completely abated. The conducting of banking transactions and operations, which depends entirely on Information Technology (I.T.) and the widespread use of personal computers, is widely known as ''electroning banking''. E-banking is rapidly expanding in contemporary bank services due to utilization of capacities that (developing) computer science offers. Electronic commerce has revolutionizes banking transactions, thus assuming to make consumers' lives much easier as it transfers the bank itself on our computer screen, thus drastically reducing the cost the both sides, while consumers gain valuable time as they can be serviced 24 hours in 24 hours a day. As far as the present work is concerned, the issue of electronic banking was analysed objectively and realistically.

Abstract: | Traditionally, all banking operations were carried through with the use of ''paper'' in all its forms (applications, letters, contracts etc.). |
