Ψηφιοποίηση της συλλογής των σχολικών εγχειριδίων της κεντρικής βιβλιοθήκης του Α.Π.Θ. από το 1911 μέχρι το 1927 (Bachelor thesis)

In this paper there is a detailed procedure followed for Digitization of the collection of
school books of the central library of AUTH from 1911 to 1927, while the archive is
available online at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. in the collection of readers
(https://digital.lib.auth.gr/collection/Readers%20Collection). Key facts about readers as well
as an introduction to the science of digitization are also presented. To complete this work, 50
books were digitized, or about 10,000 pages, and for all of them the same procedure has been
followed since the search and the discovery of the exhibit, scanning, pages editing, and
importing metadata at the base of the digital library

| Abstract: | Στην παρούσα εργασία υπάρχει αναλυτικά η διαδικασία που ακολουθήθηκε για την
ψηφιοποίηση της συλλογής των σχολικών εγχειριδίων της κεντρικής βιβλιοθήκης του Α.Π.Θ.
από το 1911 μέχρι το 1927, ενώ το αρχείο είναι διαθέσιμο online στην ψηφιοθήκη του
Α.Π.Θ. στη συλλογή των αναγνωστικών
(https://digital.lib.auth.gr/collection/Readers%20Collection). Επίσης παρατίθενται βασικά
ιστορικά στοιχεία για τα αναγνωστικά καθώς επίσης και μια εισαγωγή στην επιστήμη της
ψηφιοποίησης. Για την ολοκλήρωση της παρούσας εργασίας ψηφιοποιήθηκαν 50 βιβλία, ή
αλλιώς περίπου στις 10.000 σελίδες και για όλα ακολουθήθηκε η ίδια διαδικασία από τη
στιγμή που γίνεται η αναζήτηση και ο εντοπισμός του τεκμηρίου, η σάρωση του, η
επεξεργασία του σελίδα-σελίδα, καθώς και η εισαγωγή των μεταδεδομένων στην βάση της
