Η επίδραση της Μουσικής σε παιδιά και ενήλικες που βρίσκονται στο Φάσμα του Αυτισμού (Master thesis)

The purpose of this research was to investigate whether there are benefits of
music in education and in enhancing the communication skills of children with
autism within a school environment. Specifically, attempts were made to answer
questions through the views and personal experience of teachers concerning the
contribution of music to the self-expression and communication of people with
autism as well as its impact on the learning of people with autism. The survey
involved a total of 34 teachers who have worked in primary and secondary education
schools, 18 women and 16 men, aged 25 to 55 who had 1-20 years of working
experience. Data was collected through a 28 item questionnaire. Results showed that
the contribution of music to the education of children with autism is particularly
important as it promotes the development of social, communicative and emotional
skills
