Απόψεις και στάσεις των εκπαιδευτικών της διεύθυνσης πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης Δυτικής Θεσσαλονίκης για την επιμόρφωσή τους σε θέματα διοίκησης σχολικών μονάδων (Master thesis)

The present thesis has been researching the educators' views and attitudes towards
their training on administrative issues. A sample of 215 educators ( headmasters/
headmistresses, teachers, kindergarten teachers and educational specialists ) teaching
in school units of the Primary Education Directorate in Western Thessaloniki has
been used for the research. The thesis has been based on the quantative research of the
selected and analyzed data. A questionnaire has been used as the data selection tool
and the selection took place from March 1st 2018 until March 30th 2018. Software
SPSS ( Statistical Package or Social Sciences ) ver.20.0 or Windows has been used
for the statistic analysis of the research data. The results of the present research
indicate the necessity for both the educators' and the school administration's training
on administrativeissues. The educators state that they are not satisfied by their training
on administrative issues so far and express their desire to attend future training
programs on school unit administration. Finally, they believe that administration
trainings make a positive contribution to the improvement of the school effectiveness
and the quality of the providing education
