The diploma thesis, titled Hypertension of Pregnancy, presents through articles of international and Greek literature all those situations which place a mother and a fetus in a dangerous position, in case the mother shows hypertension.
In particular, the definitions of chronic hypertension, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and HELLP syndrome are presented and their symptoms, their path physiology and the ways to deal with them are analyzed.

| Abstract: | Η πτυχιακή εργασία με τίτλο ΥΠΕΡΤΑΣΗ ΚΥΗΣΗΣ, παρουσιάζει μέσα από άρθρα της διεθνούς και ελληνικής βιβλιογραφίας, όλες εκείνες τις καταστάσεις που φέρουν σε επικίνδυνη θέση μητέρα και έμβρυο, στην περίπτωση που η μητέρα εμφανίσει υπέρταση.
Ειδικότερα, παρουσιάζονται οι ορισμοί της χρόνιας υπέρτασης, της προεκλαμψίας, της εκλαμψίας και του συνδρόμου HELLP και αναλύονται τα συμπτώματα, η παθοφυσιολογία τους αλλά και οι τρόποι αντιμετώπισής τους.
