Περιγραφική και θεματική καταλογογράφηση εμπλουτισμένων βιβλιογραφικών εγγραφών στο Koha στην βιβλιοθήκη του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας. (Bachelor thesis)

This current thesis presents the descriptive and thematic cataloging of a part of the library material of the University of Macedonia. More specifically, the whole process of descriptive and thematic cataloging, including the procedures for classifying and cataloging the available material, is presented.
In addition to the above, this work initially provides information in summary form regarding the Library of the University of Macedonia where it became the practical part of the dissertation with the available material for cataloging. Subscriptions of this available material have a peculiarity, which is to enrich the content in the library catalog so that the user is easier to access, since it provides more information than bibliographic data auch as covers, tables of contents etc. In addition, tables are indexed first by title, followed by each author and per subject, as well as an extensive presentation of how documents are cataloged using the automated KOHA system with examples. In conclusion, the main part of this work consists of the 260 complete bibliographic records registered in coded MARC21 format.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία πραγματεύεται την περιγραφική και θεματική καταλογογράφηση ενός μέρους του υλικού της Βιβλιοθήκης του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, παρουσιάζεται όλη η διαδικασία της περιγραφικής και θεματικής καταλογογράφησης, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των διαδικασιών ταξινόμησης και καταλογογράφησης του διαθέσιμου υλικού.
Εκτός από τα παραπάνω, στην εργασία αυτή αναφέρονται αρχικά πληροφορίες σε συνοπτική μορφή όσον αφορά την Βιβλιοθήκη του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας όπου και έγινε το πρακτικό κομμάτι της πτυχιακής με το διαθέσιμο προς καταλογογράφηση υλικό της. Οι εγγραφές του διαθέσιμου αυτού υλικού έχουν μια ιδιαιτερότητα, η οποία είναι ο εμπλουτισμός του περιεχομένου στον κατάλογο της βιβλιοθήκης, έτσι ώστε να είναι πιο εύκολη η πρόσβαση του χρήστη, εφόσον τον παρέχει περισσότερες πληροφορίες πέραν των βιβλιογραφικών στοιχείων όπως για παράδειγμα εξώφυλλα, πίνακες περιεχομένων κ.ά. Επιπρόσθετα, περιλαμβάνονται πίνακες - ευρετήρια με αλφαβητική διάταξη πρώτα ανά τίτλο, έπειτα ανά συγγραφέα και τέλος ανά θέμα, καθώς επίσης και μια εκτενής παρουσίαση του τρόπου καταλογογράφησης των τεκμηρίων μέσω του αυτοματοποιημένου συστήματος KOHA με παραδείγματα. Καταλήγοντας, το κυρίως μέρος της εργασίας αποτελείται από τις 260 πλήρεις βιβλιογραφικές εγγραφές που καταχωρήθηκαν σε κωδικοποιημένη μορφή MARC 21.
