This work is one of the basic everyday activities of the individual in order to
satisfy the material, spiritual and moral goods needed for his survival.
The work is difficult and often dangerous to the health of the individual.
Many accidents occur during work and some of them can lead to death, to total or
partial disability.
Occupational Health and Safety is an obligation on the part of the state and
employers to workers, but workers themselves should take care of taking
appropriate safety measures in their workplace.
The following work, entitled "Occupational Health and Safety", aims to
study the health and safety of workers in their workplace and develops into seven
chapters. The first chapter refers to the relevant legislation, the second chapter
develops hygiene in the workplace, the third chapter describes the occupational
hazards and the measures for their prevention; in the fourth chapter are reported
statistics on health and safety in the workplace; Chapter five describes the
protection and prevention services, the chapter develops prevention and
protection measures at the workplace, the seventh and last chapter refers to the
global Safety and Health Day at work. This paper close with conclusions and

| Abstract: | Η εργασία αποτελεί, μια από τις βασικές καθημερινές δραστηριότητες του
ατόμου, προκειμένου να ικανοποιήσει τα υλικά, πνευματικά και ηθικά αγαθά που
χρειάζεται για την επιβίωσή του.
Η εργασία όμως είναι δύσκολη και πολλές φορές επικίνδυνη για την υγεία
του ατόμου. Γίνονται πολλά ατυχήματα κατά την διάρκεια της εργασίας και μερικά
από αυτά μπορεί να οδηγήσουν στο θάνατο, στην πλήρη ή μερική αναπηρία.
Η Υγιεινή και Ασφάλεια στον εργασιακό χώρο είναι υποχρέωση του
κράτους και των εργοδοτών προς τους εργαζόμενους, αλλά και οι ίδιοι οι
εργαζόμενοι θα πρέπει να μεριμνούν για την λήψη και τήρηση των κατάλληλων
μέτρων ασφαλείας στον χώρο της εργασίας τους.
Η παρακάτω εργασία, με θέμα «Υγιεινή και ασφάλεια στον εργασιακό
χώρο» έχει ως σκοπό την μελέτη της υγιεινής και της ασφάλειας των εργαζομένων
στο χώρο της εργασίας τους και αναπτύσσεται σε επτά κεφάλαια. Το πρώτο
κεφάλαιο αναφέρεται στην σχετική νομοθεσία, το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αναπτύσσει
την υγιεινή στους χώρους της εργασίας, το τρίτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφει τους
επαγγελματικούς κινδύνους και τα μέτρα πρόληψης αυτών, στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο
αναφέρονται στατιστικά στοιχεία σχετικά με την υγιεινή και ασφάλεια στο χώρο της
εργασίας, στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφονται οι υπηρεσίες προστασία και
πρόληψης, στο κεφάλαιο αναπτύσσονται τα μέτρα πρόληψης και προστασίας στο
χώρο εργασίας, στο έβδομο και τελευταίο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά στην
παγκόσμια ημέρα ασφάλειας και υγείας στην εργασία. Η εργασία κλείνει με τα
