As we are seeing a rapid change in the world of finance, maintaining accurate
record-keeping is extremely important. The use of computers in a company's general
ledger, payroll and many other accounting work enhances the efficiency and productivity
of the office. With a computer, we can request and receive a balance sheet, an income
statement or other accounting reports.
Computers are great tools for managing complex financial records. One can get tax
returns, get informed about net worth and tax deductions in minutes. At the same time, the
development of information technology has significantly affected bookkeeping and
bookkeeping techniques even in smaller businesses.
Nowadays, it's hard to find a company that uses a manual accounting technique

| Abstract: | Δεδομένου ότι παρατηρούμε ταχεία αλλαγή στον κόσμο των οικονομικών, η
διατήρηση της ακριβής καταγραφής αρχείων είναι εξαιρετικά σημαντική. Η χρήση
υπολογιστών στο γενικό βιβλίο μιας επιχείρησης, στη μισθοδοσία και σε πολλές άλλες
λογιστικές εργασίες ενισχύουν την αποτελεσματικότητα και την παραγωγικότητα του
γραφείου. Με έναν υπολογιστή, μπορούμε να ζητήσουμε και να λάβουμε ισολογισμό, μια
κατάσταση λογαριασμού αποτελεσμάτων ή άλλες λογιστικές εκθέσεις.
Οι υπολογιστές είναι εξαιρετικά εργαλεία για τη διαχείριση σύνθετων οικονομικών
αρχείων. Κάποιος μπορεί να πάρει φορολογικές δηλώσεις, να ενημερωθεί για την καθαρή
αξία και τις φορολογικές εκπτώσεις εξόδων μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά. Παράλληλα, η ανάπτυξη
των τεχνολογιών πληροφορικής επηρέασε σημαντικά τις λογιστικές και τεχνικές της
τήρησης βιβλίων ακόμη και στις μικρότερες επιχειρήσεις.
