Αυχενικό σύνδρομο: Παθήσεις, αξιολόγηση, θεραπεία (Bachelor thesis)

This thesis revolves around the anatomy of the spine, its kinesiology, myology and ligaments as well as the nervous system concerning the cervical spine. In order to examine the patient suffering from cervical syndrome, diagnostic imaging techniques and physiotherapy assessment techniques are included. Following those, we present the diseases the cervical syndrome consists of. Said degenerative diseases are cervical disc herniation, cervical radiculopathy, cervical myelopathy and cervical spondylosis. The treatment of these conditions includes both medical and physiotherapeutic techniques. Surgery and conservative treatment form part of the medical techniques, while the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation program differentiates injuries based on the rehabilitation stage, that is the acute, subacute or chronic stage. The results of this work can be found summarized in the conclusions chapter.

| Abstract: | Στην παρούσα εργασία γίνεται αναφορά στην ανατομία της σπονδυλικής στήλης, στην κινησιολογία της, στην μυολογία, στην συνδεσμολογία και στο νευρικό σύστημα που αφορά την αυχενική μοίρα. Για την αξιολόγηση του ασθενή που υποφέρει από αυχενικό σύνδρομο περιλαμβάνονται τεχνικές διαγνωστικής απεικόνισης και φυσικοθεραπευτικές τεχνικές αξιολόγησης. Γίνεται παρουσίαση των παθήσεων, οι οποίες αποτελούν το αυχενικό σύνδρομο. Οι εκφυλιστικές αυτές παθήσεις είναι η κήλη του μεσοσπονδύλιου δίσκου, η αυχενική ριζοπάθεια, η αυχενική μυελοπάθεια και η αυχενική σπονδυλοαρθρίτιδα. Η θεραπεία αυτών των παθήσεων περιλαμβάνει ιατρικές και φυσικοθεραπευτικές τεχνικές. Στις ιατρικές τεχνικές εξετάζονται η χειρουργική και η συντηρητική θεραπεία, ενώ στο φυσικοθεραπευτικό πρόγραμμα αποκατάστασης γίνεται διαχωρισμός της κάκωσης με βάση το στάδιο της αποκατάστασης σε οξύ στάδιο, υποξύ στάδιο και χρόνιο στάδιο. Τέλος, έχουμε τα συμπεράσματα, τα οποία συνοψίζουν τα αποτελέσματα της εργασίας.
