Η επίδραση των σχολικών εγκαταστάσεων στην επίδοση των μαθητών: (Master thesis)

The purpose of this research was to examine the possible impact of the quality of
school facilities on the students’ academic performance by exploring the views of teachers in
primary schools in the prefecture of Thessaloniki, Greece.
For this purpose, a descriptive survey or in other words a statistical quantitative study,
was adopted, which as aresearch tool used a questionnaire aimed at revealing the opinion of
the participants teachers about the possible impact of the quality of the school facilities on the
academic performance of the students.
As has been shown both by the case study of the participating teachers and by the
literature review, the influence of school facilities on the students’ academic performance is
important. In particular, when school facilities are characterized as incomplete in relation to
parameters such as acoustics, natural lighting, ventilation, educational equipment, temperature
and humidity, which may be observed either individually or especially in combination, then
the effect of these facilities may prove negative for student performance

| Abstract: | Στόχος της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν είναι να εξετάσει τον πιθανό αντίκτυπο της
ποιότητας των σχολικών εγκαταστάσεων στην ακαδημαϊκή επίδοση των μαθητών μέσα από
τη διερεύνηση των απόψεων των εκπαιδευτικών (δασκάλων και καθηγητών ειδικότητας) στα
δημοτικά σχολεία του νομού Θεσσαλονίκης.
Για το σκοπό αυτό, υιοθετήθηκε μια περιγραφική έρευνα, δηλαδή μια στατιστική
ποσοτική μελέτη, που ως εργαλείο είχε ένα ερωτηματολόγιο σε ότι τη γνώμη των
συμμετεχόντων στην έρευνα εκπαιδευτικών για τον πιθανό αντίκτυπο της ποιότητας των
σχολικών εγκαταστάσεων στην ακαδημαϊκή επίδοση των μαθητών.
Όπως διαπιστώθηκε τόσο από τη μελέτη περίπτωσης των συμμετεχόντων
εκπαιδευτικών όσο και από την επισκόπηση της σχετικής με το θέμα βιβλιογραφίας, η
επίδραση των σχολικών εγκαταστάσεων στην επίδοση των μαθητών είναι σημαντική. Πιο
συγκεκριμένα, όταν οι σχολικές εγκαταστάσεις χαρακτηρίζονται ως ελλιπείς σε σχέση με
παραμέτρους, όπως η ακουστική, ο φυσικός φωτισμός, οαερισμός και ο εκπαιδευτικός
εξοπλισμός, ηθερμοκρασία και η υγρασία μεταξύ άλλων, οι οποίες παρατηρούνται είτε
μεμονωμένα είτε κυρίως συνδυαστικά, τότε η επίδρασή των συγκεκριμένων εγκαταστάσεων
