My graduation thesis is my main occupation in the last semester of my studies in the
Aesthetics & Cosmetology Department of the Alexander Technological Educational
Institute of Thessaloniki.
The topic I chose to investigate is alopecia and ways to fight it. The reason for choosing this
topic is my personal experience, having suffered from alopecia over the last five years.
Alopecia has infected either temporarily or permanently 98% of the world's population,
most of whom are men.
So in this diploma we will analyze the various forms of alopecia. Two of the most common
categories of alopecia are androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata.
As will be mentioned below, the causes of alopecia are numerous and the diagnosis of the
different forms of alopecia, which is a very difficult task, requires knowledge and good
understanding of the specialist physician with the patient. There are many medicines that
promise to fight alopecia on the market, as well as sophisticated methods of dealing with
this problem, either with prp or surgical procedures

| Abstract: | Η εκπόνηση της πτυχιακής μου εργασίας αποτελεί την κύρια ασχολία μου το τελευταίο
εξάμηνο των σπουδών μου, στο τμήμα Αισθητικής & Κοσμητολογίας του Αλεξάνδρειου
Τεχνολογικού Εκπαιδευτικού Ιδρύματος Θεσσαλονίκης.
Το θέμα που επέλεξα να ερευνήσω είναι η αλωπεκία και οι τρόποι καταπολέμησης αυτής.
Αφορμή για την επιλογή του συγκεκριμένου θέματος αποτελεί το προσωπικό μου βίωμα,
έχοντας ασθενήσει από αλωπεκία την τελευταία πενταετία.
Η πάθηση αυτή έχει προσβάλλει είτε προσωρινά είτε μόνιμα το 98% του παγκόσμιου
πληθυσμού των ανθρώπων, το μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό των οποίων, είναι άνδρες.
Επίσης σ’ αυτή τη πτυχιακή καταγράφονται όλες οι μορφές της αλωπεκίας, οι οποίες
συνοδεύονται από πλούσιο φωτογραφικό υλικό με αναλυτική περιγραφή, και
αναφέρονται και οι τρόποι αντιμετώπισης, μέχρι σήμερα, της αλωπεκίας.
Η πτυχιακή αυτή εργασία, αποτελεί μια πολύμηνη έρευνα μελέτης και συγκέντρωσης
βιβλιογραφικού υλικού κυρίως από ιατρικά βιβλία, επιστημονικά άρθρα και άλλες
επιστημονικές πηγές.
Θα ήθελα τέλος να ευχαριστήσω την καθηγήτριά μας Κα Γιαννακουδάκη Άννα, η οποία με
επιμονή και γνώση με βοήθησε να ολοκληρώσω την εργασία μου. Θα ήθελα επιπλέον να
