The present dissertation, introduces the world of parasites and the most popular cutaneous parasitic infections in Greece and worldwide. Considering the increased levels of travel faculty and the outbreak of immigration from endemic regions, the necessity of studying and facing these diseases has risen.
The primary chapter gives details about the micro world of the parasites, so as to simplify their complexity their action. The following three examine, individually, the parasitic infections, with references in the disease development, the way of transmission and the healing treatment.
To sum up, this dissertation is consider to be a helpful manual for those who want to be aware of a parasitic disease either just to understand the capacity of the parasitic world and each infections, or to know how to face this kind of situation in case they infected.
