This thesis concerns the organization and processing (descriptive and subject cataloging and classification) of the collection of the "MELISSA" Orphanage. The items (encyclopedias and literary books) were registered in the computerized Koha system. There are some historical data of the orphanage and reference of the Koha and its functions. Concluding, there are references of the systems that were used for processing the items (AACR2, Library of Congress Subject Headings, DDC). | Abstract: | Αυτή η πτυχιακή εργασία αφορά την οργάνωση και την επεξεργασία (περιγραφική και θεματική καταλογογράφηση και ταξινόμηση) της συλλογής της Στέγης «ΜΕΛΙΣΣΑ». Τα τεκμήρια (εγκυκλοπαίδειες και λογοτεχνικά βιβλία) καταχωρήθηκαν στο αυτοματοποιημένο σύστημα Koha. Αναφέρονται κάποια ιστορικά στοιχεία για την στέγη και γίνεται αναφορά στο Koha και τις λειτουργίες του. Τέλος αναφέρονται τα συστήματα που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την επεξεργασία του υλικού (AACR2, Library of Congress Subject Headings, DDC).
