Δικτυακός τόπος των ιστορικών αγορών της Θεσσαλονίκης (Bachelor thesis)

This project aims to create a website on the historical markets of
Thessaloniki, which are still active (http://istorikesagores.hol.es/). Initially there
will be a throwback on markets and then some information on the current
situation and the future of these markets. The next step will be a detailed
report on each one of these markets emphasizing on their history, the shops
that exist and the current market conditions. Then follows the process of
creating this site with the word press platform, starting with a short description
of the research that preceded. Finally, the conclusions will be reported.
The purpose of this site is to highlight the historical markets of
Thessaloniki, which are still operating in the traditional buildings in the center
of city fighting against modern shopping centers.
Finally it is necessary to mention that through this thesis a piece of
history of Thessaloniki starting in 1920 is revealed.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία αποσκοπεί στη δημιουργία ενός διαδικτυακού τόπου που αφορά ιστορικές αγορές της Θεσσαλονίκης, οι οποίες παραμένουν ακόμη ενεργές (http://istorikesagores.hol.es/ ). Αρχικά θα γίνει μαι ιστορική αναδρομή σχετικά με τις αγορές και έπειτα, θα αναφερθούν στοιχεία για την τωρινή τους κατάσταση αλλά και για το μέλλων αυτών των αγορών. Μετά την γνωστοποίηση των στοιχείων, θα γίνει μια λεπτομερής αναφορά σε κάθε ιστορική αγορά, τονίζοντας την ιστορία τους, τα μαγαζιά που λειτουργούν και τις συνθήκες που επικρατούν. Όταν λοιπόν, ολοκληρωθεί αυτή η παρουσίαση, θα παρουσιασθεί η διαδικασία υλοποίησης της δημιουργίας ιστότοπου, ξεκινώντας με τις ενέργειες που έγιναν πριν αρχίσει η ενασχόληση με τον ιστότοπο. Έπειτα θα αναφερθεί πως κατασκευάστηκε και με ποιο πρόγραμμα δημιουργήθηκε, με την βοήθεια απεικονίσεων της οθόνης (screen shots) από τον ιστότοπο. Τέλος, θα τονισθούν τα συμπεράσματα τα οποία θα προκύψουν.
Ο σκοπός επιλογής αυτού του θέματος, είναι να αναδείξει τις ιστορικές αγορές της Θεσσαλονίκης, οι οποίες ακόμη λειτουργούν μέσα στα παραδοσιακά κτίσματα, στο κέντρο της πόλης, παλεύοντας με τα σύγχρονα εμπορικά κέντρα. Συγκεντρώνοντας πληροφορίες, φωτογραφίες και βίντεο σε έναν ιστότοπο, ώστε να παρουσιασθούν συνολικά για να γίνει γνωστή η ιστορία τους αλλά και τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν εξαιτίας της κρίσης.
Τέλος είναι αναγκαίο να αναφερθεί ότι μέσα από αυτή την πτυχιακή εργασία αποκαλύπτεται ένα κομμάτι της ιστορία της Θεσσαλονίκης που ξεκινά από το 1920.
