Beekeeping is one of the few economic activities of man, which is not only environmentally friendly, but also contributes to the rational management of natural resources. With the gradual reduction in the number of other insect pollinators with land reclamation and the use of herbicides, the role of bees in pollination of cultivated plants, and native vegetation becomes primary. The bee is considered to be the most valuable insect on the planet earth. The mild climate, the diverse and extensively beekeeping flora and the consecutive, rich secretions of nectar, ensure favorable conditions for the development of beekeeping in our country. The subject of this thesis entitled "Biology of bees and beekeeping plants in Pella region", aims to make a report on the biology of bees and to any type of plant that can provide food to them. Initially, becomes a reference to anatomy-morphology of bee and general behavior of the colony. Subsequently, are presented basic elements of beekeeping plants in Pella, which are understood by the reader with a plethora of images.
