Nowadays, the Internet and the World Wide Web (World Wide Web) - the two most revolutionary discoveries of the 20th century - play, fortunately or unfortunately, a decisive role in people's lives. More and more people put the Internet into their daily routine, using it as a way of communication, information, education and entertainment. A necessary precondition, for the use of these web offerings, is the creation and appearance of websites on the web. Therefore, as part of the present thesis, I undertook to design a website entitled "Theatres of Thessaloniki". The basic and main aim of my thesis is to inform the reader about the design and the creation way and process of my website, by making a detailed presentation. Moreover, it aims to present the most important and most famous theatres of Thessaloniki, by offering significant, useful and interesting information to the reader. In order to enable the preparation of the thesis, I made the following methodology: • Internet and bibliographic research for information and data collection about the theaters of Thessaloniki. • Design and implementation of the website "Theatres of Thessaloniki" by using HTML - CSS code. • Writing of the thesis text part, including the general - theoretical information and the website creation process. In conclusion, the site "Theatres of Thessaloniki" (URL: http://theatresthes.hol.es/) could be characterized as a very handy and understandable website, which aims tobe an important source of information about Thessaloniki theatres and to systematically inform the public about the theatrical city events (performances).
