Διερεύνηση του κοινωνικού κεφαλαίου στις αγροτικές περιοχές : η περίπτωση της αγροτικής κοινότητας νέου Σούλιου Σερρών (Bachelor thesis)

This thesis, examines the social capital in rural areas and the ways in which it is expressed and formulated. The aim of the work is the study of social capital particularly in rural area of Neo Souli which is located in Serres, Greece, to explore the views and attitudes of local residents and members of the local agricultural cooperative. Considering cooperatives as the most important form of cooperation, but also the most distorted concept in our country, I considered worthy studying this issue in my area as it develops in me a particular interest in this topic. This study was conducted using questionnaires, which were completed by various people in the village. The study revealed that most inhabitants of a rural community are interested and believe in cooperation as support and development form of their community, but the majority is afraid to participate in an organization or collective action even if run by the villagers.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα εργασία, μελετά το κοινωνικό κεφάλαιο στις αγροτικές περιοχές και τρόπους με τους οποίους αυτό εκφράζεται και διαμορφώνεται. Σκοπός της εργασίας, είναι η μελέτη του κοινωνικού κεφαλαίου συγκεκριμένα στην αγροτική περιοχή του Νέου Σουλίου Σερρών, με σκοπό την διερεύνηση των απόψεων και στάσεων των κατοίκων της περιοχής και των μελών του τοπικού αγροτικού συνεταιρισμού. Θεωρώντας τους συνεταιρισμούς την σημαντικότερη μορφή συνεργασίας, αλλά και την πιο διαστρεβλωμένη έννοια στην χώρα μας, θεώρησα άξιο να μελετήσω το θέμα αυτό στην περιοχή μου καθώς αναπτύσσεται μέσα μου ένα ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για το συγκεκριμένο θέμα. Η μελέτη αυτή, έγινε με την χρήση ερωτηματολογίων, τα οποία συμπληρώθηκαν από διάφορα άτομα του χωριού. Από την μελέτη, προέκυψε πως οι περισσότεροι κάτοικοι της αγροτικής κοινότητας ενδιαφέρονται και πιστεύουν στην συνεργασία ως μορφή στήριξης και ανάπτυξης της κοινότητας τους, ωστόσο η πλειονότητα φοβάται να συμμετάσχει σε κάποια οργάνωση ή συλλογική δράση ακόμα και αν οργανώνεται από τους συγχωριανούς τους.
