| heal.abstract | Με τον όρο κτηνοτροφία καλείται ο κλάδος της οικονομίας που σχετίζεται με την εκτροφή και την εκμετάλλευση παραγωγικών ζώων. Ειδικότερα, η κτηνοτροφία θεωρείται μία από τις πιο παλιές δραστηριότητες του ανθρώπου. Σύμφωνα με ιστορικά στοιχεία, ο άνθρωπος κατέβαλε και καταβάλει τεράστιες προσπάθειες για να εξασφαλίσει την απαραίτητη ποσότητα τροφής και να καλύψει τις ανάγκες του. Στην προσπάθεια του αυτή συνειδητοποίησε ότι μπορούσε να μη σκοτώνει τα ζώα, αλλά να τα πιάνει, να τα τρέφει και να τα σκοτώνει όταν είχε ανάγκη. Κατ’ αυτόν τον τρόπο ξεκίνησε ο άνθρωπος σταδιακά να ασχολείται με την κτηνοτροφία. Επίσης, η κτηνοτροφία έχει γίνει γνωστή ακόμη από την νεολιθική εποχή, στις χώρες της Μεσογείου και της Μέσης Ανατολής (Γαλανού, 2014). Η εξασφάλιση της καλής διατροφής των ζώων, αποτελεί πρωταρχικό παράγοντα προώθησης και βελτίωσης της κτηνοτροφίας. Οι τροφές πρέπει να είναι κατάλληλες σε ποιότητα και ποσότητα. Όταν οι τροφές δεν είναι επαρκείς ή όταν δεν περιέχουν ορισμένα απαραίτητα στοιχεία (άλατα, βιταμίνες κλπ.) είναι επόμενο να επηρεάζεται η απόδοση του ζώου. Γι’ αυτό πρέπει να γίνεται καλύτερη εκμετάλλευση και βελτίωση των βοσκότοπων, επέκταση της καλλιέργειας κατάλληλων κτηνοτροφικών φυτών, ίδρυση βιομηχανιών και παρασκευαστηρίων ζωοτροφών, εκπαίδευση των εκτροφέων στη διατροφή των ζώων και εισαγωγή από το εξωτερικό των μη παραγομένων στη χώρα μας απαραιτήτων ζωοτροφών (Internet 1). | el |
| heal.abstract | With the term livestock we call the sector of the economy associated with the breeding and exploitation of productive animals. In particular, the livestock is considered one of the oldest human activities. According to historical data, man made and still makes huge efforts to ensure the necessary amount of food to meet his needs. In these efforts, he realized he could not just kill the animals, but catch and rear them, and kill them afterwards, when needed. In this way, man started gradually dealing with stockbreeding. Livestock also has become more known from the Neolithic era, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Ensuring good feeding of animals is a key factor in promoting and improving the livestock. The feed must be adequate in quality and quantity. When feeds are not sufficient or when they do not contain some necessary elements (salts, vitamins, etc.), then they adversely affect animal performance. For this reason, man must exploit and improve grasslands in a better way, expands cultivation of suitable forage crops, establish feed industries and better utilize feeds, educate farmers in animal feeding and import from abroad the necessary feeds that are not produced locally. | en |
