The object of the Aesthetic work includes a variety of applications involving both facial and the aimed body treatments that are maintaining skin health and promote better appearance.The scientific field of Aesthetics has a wide range since it belongs to the paramedical professions and complementedby knowledge of Cosmetology that in recent years shows a large increase in research and manufacture of skincare, which modify to some extent the presence of certain diseases, mainly dermatologic. There are a large number of diseases among the thirty medical specialties where Beautician can occupy a professional position to any extent depending on the disease and its severity.

| Abstract: | Το αντικείμενο της εργασίας του αισθητικού περιλαμβάνει μια πληθώρα εφαρμογών που αφορούν τόσο τις θεραπείες προσώπου όσο και τις θεραπείες του σώματος που στόχο έχουν την διατήρηση της υγείας του δέρματος και την προαγωγή της καλύτερης εμφάνισης του. Το γνωστικό πεδίο του αισθητικού έχει μεγάλο εύρος αφού ανήκει στα παραϊατρικά επαγγέλματα ενώ συμπληρώνεται και από τις γνώσεις της κοσμητολογίας που τα τελευταία χρόνια παρουσιάζει μια μεγάλη αύξηση στην έρευνα και παρασκευή των δερμοκαλλυντικών, τα οποία τροποποιούν σε κάποιο βαθμό την παρουσία ορισμένων παθήσεων κυρίως δερματολογικών. Υπάρχει μεγάλος αριθμός νοσημάτων ανάμεσα στις τριάντα και πλέον ιατρικές ειδικότητες όπου ο αισθητικός μπορεί να καταλάβει επαγγελματικά μια θέση σε οποιοδήποτε βαθμό ανάλογα με το νόσημα και την βαρύτητα τους.
