The method of mesotherapy was invented by the doctor Michel Pristor 1952. This technique is a minimally invasive technique that is performed by subcutaneous injection of mixtures of natural plant extracts, drugs, vitamins and other bioactive substances, in small quantities, by the cutaneous absorption. More specifically, the substances used in mesotherapy are multivitamins, hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid, DMAE, caffeine, carnitine, amino acids and peptides. The technique finds great aesthetic applications on the face and body. Facials can improve signs chronogiransis, photoaging, relaxation, wrinkles, dehydration and lack of nutrients. On the other side of the body helps improve cellulite, loosening, of stretching and lipolysis. There are two categories of mesotherapy: injecting and non-injecting. In the first category, the non-injection may be force or by the process of iontophoresis, or by the method of ilektroporosis- fotoviodiegersis. In the second category, the injection may be applied in four modes a) Dermaroller b) Dermapen c) with the gun mesotherapy d) by the method of autologous mesotherapy. In conclusion, the technique of mesotherapy performed throughout Europe and America for over 50 years, is becoming increasingly popular in Greece, through its results, and compared with the anti-wrinkle injection botox.
