The current project illustrates and classifies hemolytic anemias as well as the diseases that are caused by them. Initially, a general impression of blood and its cells is given, in order to comprehend this “prodigious” liquid of the body. Unfortunately, the function of blood is likely to present problems, consequently heamatopoiesis will not be efficient, and as a result anemias are caused. There are several kinds of anemias but the primary aim is the analysis of hemolytic anemias, namely anemias in which pathogenic destruction of red blood cells is caused

| Abstract: | H παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία επεξηγεί και κατηγοριοποιεί τις αιμολυτικές αναιμίες καθώς και τις νόσους που προκαλούνται από αυτήν. Αρχικά δίνεται μια γενική εικόνα των συστατικών του αίματος για την καλύτερη κατανόηση του «θαυματουργού» αυτού υγρού του σώματος. Δυστυχώς, η λειτουργία του αίματος είναι πιθανό να παρουσιάσει προβλήματα με αποτέλεσμα η αιμοποίηση να μην είναι αποδοτική και να προκαλείται αναιμία. Υπάρχουν διάφορα είδη αναιμιών, όμως κύριος στόχος είναι η ανάλυση των αιμολυτικών αναιμιών δηλαδή των αναιμιών όπου προκαλείται παθολογική καταστροφή των ερυθρών αιμοσφαιρίων The current project illustrates and classifies hemolytic anemias as well as the diseases that are caused by them.
