Σχέσεις υφισταμένων-προϊσταμένων στις σχολικές μονάδες στην περίοδο της παρατεταμένης οικονομικής ύφεσης. (Master thesis)

This study deals with the relationships between teacher and their leadership in a school during the present economic recession. The aim of this study is to locate the special characteristics of this relationship and the economic crisis’ affection to them.
The sample of the study included 228 teachers (106 male and 122 female, 108 from secondary and 120 from primary education), who responded to a questionnaire of 15 questions-variables, relatively to the relationships between teacher and their leadership and how these are perceivable during daily work.
Factor analysis od the questionnaire followed. The extraction method was Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with orthogonal rotation Varimax (Varimax Rotation Method). Finally, the initial variables were grouped into three factors with high validity (validity checked with Cronbach a).
Finally, cluster analysis was done for the extracted factors from the previous step. According to the findings of the present research there was high percentage of aggrement for the facts that staff make hard effort in order to respond in leadership’ demands, that there is cooperation under common goals and that whole procedure is systematically controlled. There was a neutral position according to the rest of the variables.

| Abstract: | Το θέμα της παρούσας εργασίας αποτελούν οι σχέσεις υφισταμένων – προϊσταμένων στις σχολικές μονάδες, υπό το πρίσμα της παρατεταμένης οικονομικής ύφεσης.
Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι μέσα από τη βιβλιογραφική επισκόπηση σχετικών μελετών και δημοσιεύσεων καθώς και τη στατιστική ανάλυση σχετικού δείγματος να διαπιστωθούν τα χαρακτηριστικά των συγκεκριμένων σχέσεων και το πώς αυτά έχουν επηρεαστεί από την τρέχουσα οικονομική ύφεση.
Χρησιμοποιήθηκε δείγμα 228 εκπαιδευτικών (106 άνδρες και 122 γυναίκες, με 108 να εργάζονται στη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση και 120 στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση), οι οποίοι απάντησαν σε ερωτηματολόγιο 15 ερωτήσεων – μεταβλητών, σχετικά με την περιγραφή των σχέσεων υφισταμένων – προϊσταμένων, όπως αυτές γίνονται αντιληπτές από τους συμμετέχοντες κατά την καθημερινή λειτουργία της σχολικής μονάδας.
Στη συνέχεια έγινε παραγοντική ανάλυση του ερωτηματολογίου, με μέθοδο εξαγωγής την ανάλυση σε κύριες συνιστώσες και μέθοδο ορθογώνιας περιστροφής. Προέκυψαν τελικά τρεις παράγοντες από το σύνολο των 15 μεταβλητών, οι οποίοι επέδειξαν αυξημένη αξιοπιστία (ο έλεγχος έγινε μέσω του συντελεστή Cronbach a).
Τέλος, πραγματοποιήθηκε για τους εξαγόμενους παράγοντες ανάλυση κατά συστάδες, με τα ευρήματα της έρευνας να καταδεικνύουν συμφωνία με το ότι οι εργαζόμενοι καταβάλλουν έντονη προσπάθεια για να επιδείξουν συνέπεια απέναντι στο έργο που τους αναθέτει ο διευθυντής, ότι αποδέχονται και ενεργοποιούνται σε συνεργατικά πλαίσια προκειμένου να επιτευχθούν οι στόχοι της σχολικής μονάδας και ότι η ολοκλήρωση των εργασιών ελέγχεται συστηματικά από την πλευρά της διοίκησης, με το δείγμα να διατηρεί μια ουδέτερη στάση για τις υπόλοιπες μεταβλητές.
