It is widely known that in recent years the term marketing is increasingly used. There is no doubt that at the time of technology, it has penetrated enormously into the everyday life of businesses and consumers, with the result of constantly creating new data. This contributes to creating more and more products and services for the consumer audience, as well as multiple challenges and means of communication for modern businesses.
This thesis deals with the concept of online marketing and advertising aswell as their effect on the consumer. The research part of the thesis consists of a study regarding consumers' habits as for the use of the internet and the users satisfaction from the site skroutz .gr.
