This thesis studies the methods of Project Management.Then the necessary definitions are given for more understanding about this thesis.In the main part of the thesis the 5 (five) basic processes groups and the 9(nine) areas of knowledge it recognizes. Μuch of this thesis is devoted to the implementation of the methodology mentioned above in the procurements which used by EYATH (Thessaloniki Water Supply Company), to achieve its objectives.Among these chapters are tables and layouts for a better understanding of the PMBOK methodology. Then follows mapping between procurements of PMBOK and in public law also, the conclusions drawn. 1. Σhe first chapter presents the subject that deals with the specific work. 2. In the second chapter we analyze the basic concepts and importance of applying the PMBOK methodology for the successful outcome of the project. 3. Then,the third chapter presents a detailed presentation of the pmbok methodology.Specifically the process and fields of knowledge contained in the methodology are fully developed. 4. The fourth chapter analyzes the commissions used by EYATH as compared to PMBOK and public law (L.4412/2016). 5. Finally in the fifth chapter,the conclusions of the above sections are given.
