Ο επαγγελματισμός των εκπαιδευτικών της δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης και διερεύνηση των στάσεων για το νέο προφίλ του εκπαιδευτικού που προωθούν οι υπερεθνικού οργανισμοί (Master thesis)

The current paper researches the professional profile of teachers in the secondary education and attempts to investigate the personal believes and practices that define their professionalism. Additionally, the research focuses on how international organizations (European Union, UNESCO, OECD, World Bank) shape and define policies around the professionalism of the teachers. Finally, a comparative evaluation is conducted between how the above organizations and teachers define professionalism. In order to do so a qualitative research approach was used by conducting semi-structured interviews.
In the theoretical part of the paper the meaning and the content of teachers’ professionalism is presented. Moreover, a historical overview regarding the social and economic changes on the 20th century that influenced and defined the policies of the national organizations is demonstrated through official sources.
Results indicate that teachers mainly have a serve and love attitude towards the students and do not accept a professionalism model that focusses mainly on quality, competitiveness and effectiveness of the teachers as defined by the neoliberal approach.

| Abstract: | Στην παρούσα εργασία διερευνήθηκε το θέμα του επαγγελματικού προφίλ των εκπαιδευτικών στη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση και έγινε προσπάθεια να εντοπιστούν οι απόψεις και πρακτικές των εκπαιδευτικών που οριοθετούν τον επαγγελματισμό τους. Ταυτόχρονα η έρευνα επικεντρώνεται στον τρόπο με τον οποίο διαμορφώνεται η πολιτική των διεθνών οργανισμών (Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, UNESCO, Ο.Ο.Σ.Α, Παγκόσμια τράπεζα) για ζητήματα επαγγελματισμού των εκπαιδευτικών. Μέσα από τις δύο αυτές κατευθύνσεις επιδιώκεται η συγκριτική αποτίμηση του λόγου των οργανισμών με τις απόψεις των εκπαιδευτικών. Προς επίτευξη των ανωτέρω, εφαρμόστηκε ποιοτική ερευνητική προσέγγιση με την χρησιμοποίηση ημιδομημένων συνεντεύξεων.
Στο θεωρητικό κομμάτι της εργασίας παρουσιάζεται η έννοια και το περιεχόμενο του επαγγελματισμού των εκπαιδευτικών. Γίνεται μια ιστορική αναφορά στο περιεχόμενο των κοινωνικών και οικονομικών μεταβολών στον 20ο αιώνα, μεταβολές που προσδιορίζουν τον λόγο και την πολιτική των διεθνών οργανισμών μέσα από τα επίσημα κείμενα και προτροπές.
Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν ότι οι εκπαιδευτικοί έχουν κυρίως μια διάθεση προσφοράς και αγάπης για τα παιδιά και δεν αποδέχονται το μοντέλο ενός επαγγελματισμού που αναφέρεται περισσότερο στην ποιότητα, ανταγωνιστικότητα και αποτελεσματικότητα του εκπαιδευτικού σε μια νεοφιλελεύθερη λογική.
