Εργασιακή εξουθένωση των εκπαιδευτικών: Μια διερεύνηση των αιτιών του προβλήματος και του ρόλου της σχολικής ηγεσίας (Master thesis)

This work has explored the phenomenon of professional exhaustion in the field of
education. Initially, the concepts of work-related anxiety and burnout are defined
, and then the causes of these phenomena and the consequences they cause. The
research focused specifically on the profession of teacher, the extent to which this
phenomenon has taken place in the particular profession in Greek schools, especially
in recent years, has been investigated and its consequences have been highlighted.
At the same time, there was a reference to the phenomenon of labor exhaustion of
teachers from other countries. The role of the school climate and school leadership
in the emergence and treatment of this complex problem was also assessed. Finally,
there are mentioned ways of preventing and addressing the exhaustion of teachers
as they arise from the study of the relevant literature.

| Abstract: | Στη συγκεκριμένη εργασία διερευνήθηκε το φαινόμενο της επαγγελματικής
εξουθένωσης στο χώρο της εκπαίδευσης. Αρχικά ορίζονται οι έννοιες του
εργασιακού άγχους και της εργασιακής εξουθένωσης και στη συνέχεια αναφέρονται
τα αίτια των φαινομένων αυτών καθώς και οι συνέπειες που προκαλούν. Η έρευνα
εστίασε ειδικά στο επάγγελμα του εκπαιδευτικού, διερευνήθηκε η έκταση που
λαμβάνει το φαινόμενο αυτό στο συγκεκριμένο επάγγελμα στα ελληνικά σχολεία
ειδικά τα τελευταία χρόνια και αναδείχθηκαν οι συνέπειες που προκαλεί. Παράλληλα
έγινε αναφορά και στο φαινόμενο της εργασιακής εξουθένωσης των εκπαιδευτικών
άλλων χωρών. Επίσης αξιολογήθηκε ο ρόλος του σχολικού κλίματος αλλά και της
ηγεσίας της σχολικής μονάδας στην εμφάνιση και αντιμετώπιση του σύνθετου αυτού
προβλήματος. Τέλος, αναφέρονται τρόποι πρόληψης αλλά και αντιμετώπισης της
εργασιακής εξουθένωσης των εκπαιδευτικών, όπως αυτοί προκύπτουν από τη μελέτη
