The Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program provides students the opportunity to visit a partner country of their choice which is not located within the borders of the European Union. The Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program has been linked to the development of key competencies that makes them ideal candidates in the job market. The Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program, harbours the cooperation of numerous partner countries and promotes internationalisation. Internationalisation and student mobility have been inevitably linked and aims to the development of an international academic culture where tolerance, cooperation and research thrive. This move requires constant communication between universities, curriculum updates and personal learning. In this thesis we studied the way that Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program has affected Greek Universities. We studied the organisational aspect of the home universities as well as teaching techniques, research and competencies development for job market entry. Ten university students who have participated in the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Program have provided the researchers with insights, through semi structured interviews. As their answer suggest, Greek universities find themselves in a decent organisational level, especially after a series of reformations and updates, but in terms of curricula, home Universities are very competent. The students noted that Greek universities are required to be updated in terms of research funds and co operations. Lastly, their perception of the competences they developed is positive when it comes to job market entry.
