Διεύρυνση των χαρακτηριστικών τάσεων και προοπτικών ανάπτυξης του τουρισμού ευεξίας στην Ελλάδα (Master thesis)
Δαλβαδάνη, Ευαγγελία
As the years go by, people are increasingly turning to wellness tourism and Spa
because they can combine preventative treatment with entertainment,
relaxation and general care of the body and the soul.
Therefore, an effort was made to analyze the concepts of wellness tourism and
treatment through spa centers and to explore the trends, prospects and
developmental characteristics of this tourism sector.
Through this work, we understand that wellness tourism refers to people who
want to take part in another type of tourism that targets their spiritual and
mental well-being. So to study all the above and to answer some questions, two
questionnaires were distributed to 60 tourists in some hotels in Thessaloniki
and 8 hotel managers - big hotel managers. Through this research, it is
highlighted and understood that Thessaloniki, like all of Greece, includes the
resources needed to further develop this tourism sector, but with too many
deficiencies yet.
