| heal.abstract | Η Ελλάδα είναι ο βασικός καλλιεργητής και παραγωγός βαμβακιού στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Οι τρεις κύριες περιοχές παραγωγής βαμβακιού στην Ελλάδα είναι η Θεσσαλία, η Μακεδονία-Θράκη και η Στερεά Ελλάδα. Ο Νομός Λάρισας είναι μια περιοχή στην οποία η παραγωγή βαμβακιού είναι ιδιαίτερα ανεπτυγμένη. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να κάνει μια παρουσίαση της καλλιέργειας και της παραγωγής του βαμβακιού στην Ελλάδα, με έμφαση στον Ν. Λάρισας. Το θέμα καλύπτεται σε θεωρητικό επίπεδο, παρουσιάζοντας επίσης και βασικά στατιστικά στοιχεία. Για την καλύτερη παρουσίαση του θέματος η εργασία διαχωρίζεται σε τέσσερα κεφάλαια. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται γενική αναφορά στο βαμβάκι, στα είδη και τις ποικιλίες του και στα βασικά μορφολογικά και βοτανικά χαρακτηριστικά του. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά στην καλλιέργεια του βαμβακιού, και τα σημαντικότερα θέματα που παρουσιάζονται είναι οι συνθήκες καλλιέργειας, η προετοιμασία του εδάφους, η σπορά, η άρδευση, η καλλιεργητική φροντίδα, τα στάδια ανάπτυξης του βαμβακόφυτου, η συγκομιδή και η φυτοπροστασία. Το τρίτο κεφάλαιο εστιάζει στην μεταποίηση και την εμπορία του βαμβακιού, όπου γίνεται αναφορά στα στάδια επεξεργασίας του βαμβακιού και στα ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά του, ενώ καταγράφονται βασικά στατιστικά στοιχεία για την καλλιέργεια και την παραγωγή του βαμβακιού στην Ελλάδα και σε Παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Επίσης παρουσιάζονται στοιχεία σχετικά με την οικονομική σημασία του βαμβακόφυτου. Τέλος στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται εστίαση στον Ν Λάρισας. Αρχικά παρουσιάζονται τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά του νομού και στην συνέχεια στοιχεία σχετικά με τις καλλιεργούμενες εκτάσεις, τις παραγόμενες ποσότητες, την χρηματοδότηση και τις επιδοτήσεις που λαμβάνουν οι βαμβακοπαραγωγοί καθώς και στα προβλήματα της καλλιέργειας του βαμβακιού. Τα σημαντικότερα ευρήματα συνοψίζονται στο τέλος της εργασίας, στην ενότητα των συμπερασμάτων. | el |
| heal.abstract | Greece is the main cotton cultivator and producer in the European Union. The three main cotton producing areas in Greece are Thessaly, Macedonia-Thrace and Central Greece. The Prefecture of Larissa is an area where cotton production is highly developed. The purpose of this paper is to present cultivation and production of cotton in Greece, with an emphasis on Prefecture of Larissa. The topic is covered at the theoretical level, also presenting basic statistics. To better present the topic, the study is divided into four chapters. The first chapter makes a general reference to cotton, its species and varieties, and its basic morphological and botanical characteristics. The second chapter deals with the cultivation of cotton, and the most important issues presented are the conditions of cultivation, soil preparation, sowing, irrigation, cultivation care, the stages of cotton plant growth, harvesting and plant protection. The third chapter focuses on the processing and marketing of cotton, which deals with the stages of cotton processing and its quality characteristics, while providing basic statistics on the cultivation and production of cotton in Greece and worldwide. There is also evidence of the economic importance of cotton. Finally, the fourth chapter focuses on N. Larissa. The basic characteristics of the region are presented first, followed by information on the cultivated land, the quantities produced, the financing and subsidies received by the cotton growers, as well as the problems of growing cotton. The most important findings are summarized at the end of the paper, in the conclusions section. | en |
