The present thesis on "Apple Tree Protection and Resistance to Panonychus ulmi" is divided into two parts, the bibliographic and the experimental one. The bibliographical part, refers to apple tree plant protection. More specifically, the characteristics of the disease are analyzed in terms of climatic conditions, ways of growing and fertilizing, harvesting and crop productivity. Pathogens, insects and mites that attack the apple tree are also present. The main purpose of this article is to highlight the experimental study carried out at the International Hellenic University with the valuable help of my teachers dr. Thomidis T. and dr. Navrozidis E. The experiment tests the resistance of Panonychus ulmi mite to some chemical and non-chemical substances.
