The present work took place in the area of Porpi Rodopi. The purpose of the research was to measure the population of the insect Helicoverpa armigera and to control it in a conventional and biological way for cotton cultivation. Pheromone traps were placed diagonally in the field for counting insect flies and frequent field monitoring for infestations. When the infestations reached the spraying threshold, two pieces of field were sprayed with two biological and one conventional insecticide, also one fragment wasn’t sprayed. The results showed that the biological control of zeolite can have equal results with the conventional method as it can be the most economical solution.
