This thesis entitled "Attitudes and Perspectives of Students of Public Vocational Training
Institutes in Lifelong Learning" was held in the postgraduate program in the Organization
and Management of Educational Units.
Lifelong Learning is a long-term process that begins at birth and lasts throughout human
life. The provider of Lifelong Learning services is the Public Vocational Training
Institutes (PVTI), where trainees acquire basic professional knowledge and skills to
integrate into the employment system.
The purpose of the thesis is to examine the attitudes of the trainees regarding the
institution of Lifelong Learning, the way in which the institution of PVTI works, the
effectiveness of the programs in relation to the future development of students in the
labor market, as well as employment opportunities and the prospects for students to work
as specialized executives in the chosen professions.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο «Στάσεις και προοπτικές των σπουδαστών των
Δημοσίων Ινστιτούτων Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης στη Δια Βίου Μάθηση»
εκπονήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών στην Οργάνωση
και Διοίκηση Εκπαιδευτικών Μονάδων .
Η Δια Βίου Μάθηση είναι μια μακροχρόνια διαδικασία που αρχίζει κατά τη γέννηση και
διαρκεί καθ΄ όλη τη διάρκεια της ζωής του ανθρώπου. Φορέας παροχής υπηρεσιών της
Δια Βίου Μάθησης είναι τα Δημόσια Ινστιτούτα Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης (ΔΙΕΚ),
στα οποία οι καταρτιζόμενοι αποκτούν βασικές επαγγελματικές γνώσεις και δεξιότητες
για να ενταχθούν στο σύστημα απασχόλησης.
Σκοπός της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθούν οι στάσεις των
καταρτιζόμενων αναφορικά με τον θεσμό της Δια Βίου Μάθησης, τον τρόπο λειτουργίας
του θεσμού των ΔΙΕΚ, την αποτελεσματικότητα των προγραμμάτων σε σχέση με την
μελλοντική εξέλιξη των σπουδαστών στην αγορά εργασίας, καθώς και οι δυνατότητες
απασχόλησης και οι προοπτικές που διανοίγονται για τους σπουδαστές για να εργαστούν
ως εξειδικευμένα στελέχη στο χώρο των επαγγελμάτων που έχουν επιλέξει.
