Ο διευθυντής σε ρόλο ηγέτη, διερεύνηση των χαρακτηριστικών της αποτελεσματικής ηγεσίας μέσα από τις αντιλήψεις εκπαιδευτικών πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης (Master thesis)

The aim of this research is to deeply investigate the instructor's beliefs about
which characteristics they believe an effective leader in primary education showed his
role as a leader-principal. As for the methology of the collection of the sample it was
conducted focused sample collection to specific sample.
Participants who took part to our research were in total 100 (a hundred),53
(fifty-three) men and 47 (forty-seven) women. All of them were instructors of
secondary education.
The results of the research indicated that the sex can be a factor that affects the
participants' beliefs. As far as the researching assumptions under investigation the
first investigative assumption investigates the fact that if the type of the school affects
the assumption of the participants for what characteristics an effective leader should
have.
It was noticed that the average according to the type of
school of the instructors the score belief - assumption aren't different with statistic
importance so we reject alternative hypothesis and we keep the zero hypothesis and
we come to the conclusion that the type of the school doesn't affect the assumption of
the instructors about what the characteristics of an effective leader are.
In future researchers it is suggested to be important focus to the sampling
process. Preferably, the participants to be divided equally according to demographic
characteristics. Also, the age limit should be as a significant factor for a person's
participation in the research as a requirement. All in all, a separate sampling should
take place to every school according the region (agricultural, urban).

| Abstract: | Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν να διερευνήσει σε βάθος τις πεποιθήσεις
των εκπαιδευτικών ως προς τα χαρακτηριστικά που πρέπει να έχει ένας
αποτελεσματικός διευθυντής στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση. Όσον αφορά τη
μεθοδολογία για την συλλογή δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε στοχευμένη
δειγματοληψία σε συγκεκριμένο πληθυσμό. Οι συμμετέχοντες που πήραν μέρος στην
έρευνα μας ήταν στο σύνολο 100, 53 άνδρες και 47 γυναίκες. Όλοι ήταν
εκπαιδευτικοί πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν ότι
το φύλο επηρεάζει τις αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευτικών. Η έρευνα εξετάζει την
επίδραση του τύπου του σχολείου στα χαρακτηριστικά του διευθυντή/ηγέτη.
Σε μελλοντική έρευνα προτείνεται να υπάρξει σημαντική εστίαση στη
διαδικασία δειγματοληψίας. Κατά προτίμηση, οι συμμετέχοντες να χωρίζονται ίσα με
βάση τα δημογραφικά χαρακτηριστικά. Επίσης, το όριο ηλικίας πρέπει να υπάρχει ως
πολύ σημαντικός παράγοντας για την συμμετοχή ενός ατόμου στην έρευνα, ως
προϋπόθεση. Τέλος, πρέπει να γίνει ξεχωριστή δειγματοληψία για κάθε σχολείο, με
βάση την περιοχή (αγροτική, αστική).
