The issue of effective leadership in education is an important one
a challenge for every workplace, especially today where economic and social
crisis hit the sphere of employment. Despite the different considerations for
what are the characteristics that make up the leadership behavior, are
that the debate remains open and timely. Undoubtedly, such as
capturing a vision, spreading it, creating innovative goals, mobilizing
of team members to achieve these goals, the ability of some to them
willingly and willingly follow their partners, are key elements of it
leading behavior, which is beneficial and effective to everyone
workplace. Equally important issue in the field of effective leadership
is the development and cultivation of emotional intelligence with the aim of
empathy and satisfaction of employees' needs as well as issues
such as conflict management, communication, decision-making.
The purpose of this paper is to examine and analyze the aspects of a very important
issue for secondary education in Greece, Qualitative upgrading of education in
relation to the different types of leadership as well as the quality assurance in this area
and the direction to be achieved in order to achieve more efficient and effective
education.

| Abstract: | Το ζήτημα της αποτελεσματικής ηγεσίας στο χώρο της εκπαίδευσης, αποτελεί μια
σημαντική πρόκληση, ιδιαίτερα σήμερα που η οικονομικοκοινωνική κρίση πλήττει
καίρια τη σφαίρα της εκπαίδευσης. Παρά τις διαφορετικές θεωρήσεις για το ποια θα
πρέπει να είναι τα χαρακτηριστικά στοιχεία ενός διευθυντή δευτεροβάθμιας
εκπαίδευσης, που συγκροτούν την ηγετική συμπεριφορά, είναι σαφές ότι η συζήτηση
παραμένει ανοικτή και επίκαιρη. Αναμφισβήτητα, στοιχεία όπως η σύλληψη ενός
οράματος και η διάδοσή του, η δημιουργία καινοτόμων ιδεών και επίτευξη των
στόχων, η ικανότητα των μελών της ομάδας, οι συνεργάτες, να τους ακολουθήσουν
ηθελημένα και πρόθυμα, αποτελούν βασικά στοιχεία της ηγετικής συμπεριφοράς, η
οποία ασκείται επωφελώς και αποτελεσματικά σε κάθε εργασιακό χώρο. Εξίσου
σημαντικό ζήτημα στο χώρο της αποτελεσματικής ηγεσίας αποτελεί η ανάπτυξη και η
καλλιέργεια της συναισθηματικής νοημοσύνης με στόχο την ενσυναίσθηση και την
ικανοποίηση των αναγκών των εργαζομένων, καθώς και ζητήματα όπως η διαχείριση
των συγκρούσεων, η επικοινωνία, η λήψη αποφάσεων.
Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να εξεταστούν και να αναλυθούν οι πτυχές ενός,
πολύ σημαντικού θέματος για τη δευτεροβάθμια Εκπαίδευση στην Ελλάδα , και αφορά
την ποιοτική αναβάθμιση της εκπαίδευσης σε συνάρτηση με τα διαφορετικά είδη
ηγεσίας καθώς και την διασφάλιση της ποιότητας στον εν λόγω χώρο και την
κατεύθυνση που πρέπει να δοθεί ώστε να επιτευχθεί αποδοτικότερη και
αποτελεσματικότερη εκπαίδευση.
