This dissertation thesis aims to record and describe archive material, coming from the
civil court of Lagada-Sohou, civil court of Vasilika and part of the archive from the
Social Insurance Institute, where they take place at the General State Archives.
At first, in introduction we summarize the meaning of archive in ancient Greece.
In the first chapter of the paper, a reference is made to what an archive is and the
concepts that can be given to it. Afterwards, a reference is made about the usefulness of an archive and definitions for science of archiving and librarianship will be given. Moreover, a reference will be made to some archiving systems. In the second chapter we present the Courts of Greece, and at the same time the
concepts of County Court, Magistrates court and Magistrate will be analyzed.
In addition, the third chapter reports and analyzes the Social Insurance Institution. As we get to the fourth and most important chapter, we present the methodology that was followed, such us the material processing and classification. Continuing, at the
same chapter a reference is made about personal data in accordance with the law and a presentation of archiving system (arxeiomnimon).
Finally, in the fifth chapter the digitization of the records which were recorded in the archiving system(arxeiomnimon) is presented.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως στόχο την καταγραφή και περιγραφή αρχειακού υλικού, των ειρηνοδικείων Λαγκαδά-Σοχού, Βασιλικών και μέρος των αρχείων του Ιδρύματος Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, όπου λαμβάνουν χώρα στα Γενικά
Αρχεία του Κράτους.
Ξεκινώντας, στην εισαγωγή παρουσιάζεται συνοπτικά η έννοια όπου λάμβανε η λέξη αρχείο στην αρχαία Ελλάδα.
Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας γίνεται αναφορά στο τι είναι αρχείο και ποιες έννοιες μπορούν να αποδοθούν σε αυτό. Έπειτα, αναφερόμαστε στη χρησιμότητα του αρχείου και δίνονται οι ορισμοί των επιστημών της αρχειονομίας και της βιβλιοθηκονομίας. Τέλος γίνεται σύντομη αναφορά σε μερικά συστήματα
αρχειοθέτησης.
Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο, γίνεται παρουσίαση των Δικαστηρίων της Ελλάδος και
παράλληλα αναλύονται οι έννοιες του Ειρηνοδικείου, του Πταισματοδικείου και του
Ειρηνοδίκη. Προχωρώντας στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο, γίνεται αναφορά και ανάλυση του Ιδρύματος κοινωνικών ασφαλίσεων.
Στη συνέχεια φτάνουμε στο τέταρτο και πιο σημαντικό κεφάλαιο της
εργασίας, στο οποίο γίνεται λόγος στη μεθοδολογία της εργασίας, δηλαδή στον τρόπο με τον οποίο έγινε η επεξεργασία του υλικού, η ταξινόμηση και η ταξιθέτηση. Έπειτα, στο ίδιο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά για τα προσωπικά δεδομένα σύμφωνα με το νόμο και μια παρουσίαση του αρχειομνήμων. Τέλος, στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο είναι ορατή η ψηφιοποίηση των δελτίων που καταγράφηκαν στον αρχειομνήμων.
