Συστήματα πέδησης σε βαρέως τύπου οχήματα (Bachelor thesis)

This thesis focuses on the analysis of heavy vehicles breaking systems. This kind of
vehicles is a lot in Greek roads. So the safe braking of them is important for the whole safety
of Greek roads users. So this thesis begins with a chapter about the heavy vehicles and their
main characteristics. Then, in second chapter, a general reference is made about braking
systems of heavy vehicles. After that in third and fourth chapter we analyze the most important
heavy vehicle braking systems, air braking systems and hydraulic braking systems. Finally, in
fifth chapter a reference to auxiliary braking systems is made. It refers in systems which
increase braking force and in systems which increase braking safety. In conclusion, as a last
chapter will be the conclusion of the current thesis.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα εργασία εστιάζει στην ανάλυση των συστημάτων πέδησης βαρέων
οχημάτων. Τα βαρέα οχήματα που κινούνται στους ελληνικούς δρόμους είναι αρκετά σε
αριθμό. Η ασφαλής πέδηση των οχημάτων αυτών είναι σημαντικής σημασίας για την ασφάλεια
των διερχομένων στους ελληνικούς δρόμους. Προς τούτο η εργασία ξεκινάει παρουσιάζοντας
τα βαρέα οχήματα και τα κυριότερα χαρακτηριστικά τους. Ακολούθως γίνεται μια γενική
αναφορά στα συστήματα πέδησης των βαρέων οχημάτων. Στα επόμενα κεφάλαια αναλύονται
τα σημαντικότερα συστήματα πέδησης βαρέων οχημάτων, τα συστήματα πέδησης αέρος και
τα υδραυλικά συστήματα πέδησης. Τέλος γίνεται αναφορά σε βοηθητικά συστήματα πέδησης
των οποίων η χρήση αυξάνει είτε την απόδοση της πέδησης είτε την ασφάλεια κατά την
πέδηση. Η εργασία κλείνει με το κεφάλαιο των συμπερασμάτων το οποίο τοποθετείται αντί
