The Erasmus + program is a great opportunity for quality upgrades at many levels for primary school teachers and students, according to international research conducted. Throughout the program participants can develop collaboration, multiculturalism, broaden their knowledge, come into contact with different cultures and generally bring many benefits. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the views and perceptions of Greek primary and secondary education teachers of the Erasmus + program, both participants and non-participants, to document the benefits that participants will gain from participating in and what they have upgrading the quality of education, identifying the barriers that prevent them from participating in it. To investigate the above, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research was conducted on a sample of 89 Primary School teachers working in primary schools, regardless of their employment relationship (permanent, alternate). The results of the research are in line with the results of the research in the literature, while the conclusions regarding the teachers' participation in the Erasmus + program are of great interest and lead to suggestions to move the research to this subject a step further.

| Abstract: | Το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ αποτελεί μια πολύ καλή ευκαιρία ποιοτικής αναβάθμισης σε πολλά επίπεδα για τους εκπαιδευτικούς και τους μαθητές της Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης σύμφωνα με διεθνή έρευνες που έχουν διεξαχθεί. Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να αναπτύξουν τη συνεργασία, την πολυπολιτισμικότητα, να διευρύνουν τις γνώσεις τους, να έρθουν σε επαφή με διαφορικές κουλτούρες και γενικώς να αποκομίσουν πολλά οφέλη. Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία στόχο έχει να διερευνήσει τις απόψεις και τις αντιλήψεις των Ελλήνων εκπαιδευτικών- δασκάλων της Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης για το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, συμμετεχόντων και μη συμμετεχόντων, να καταγράψει τα οφέλη που αποκομίζουν οι συμμετέχοντες με τη συμμετοχή τους σε αυτό και τι αντίκτυπο έχει στην αναβάθμιση της ποιότητας της εκπαίδευσης, να καταγράψει τα εμπόδια που αποτρέπουν τη συμμετοχή τους σε αυτό. Για τη διερεύνηση των παραπάνω έγινε ένας συνδυασμός ποσοτικής και ποιοτικής έρευνας, σε δείγμα 89 δασκάλων της Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης που εργάζονται σε δημοτικά σχολεία, ανεξάρτητα από τη σχέση εργασίας τους (μόνιμοι, αναπληρωτές). Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας συμφωνούν με αποτελέσματα ερευνών που υπάρχουν στη βιβλιογραφία, ενώ τα συμπεράσματα όσο αφορά τη συμμετοχή των δασκάλων στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ παρουσιάζουν μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον και οδηγούν σε προτάσεις για να προχωρήσει η έρευνα στο θέμα αυτό ένα βήμα παραπέρα.
