This research examines the opinions of Primary Education teachers of Thessaloniki, about Total Quality Managment and the Common Assessment Framework (CAF). More specifically, our research tries to answers in three research questions, about the criteria of a quality school, the role of stakeholder in education (parents, students, teachers, directors) and the profits of CAF for the quality of the school. The first part of this bachelor's thesis, is a theoretical reaserch in the bibliography of general quality and in education also. Afterwards is elected the role of parents,students and leadership,in the processes of total quality, while is immediately involved in the education. The last theoritical part is about the evaluation of greek educational system and the Common Assessment Framework (CAF). The second part of this bachelor's thesis, included the results of our research initially in general for all participating, afterwards are presented the results based on the previous experience participating and their speciality. The results of our research showed that the teachers of primary education in Thessaloniki used to use empirically processes of totalquality in their schools without an organised effort to this and at the same time, the use factors that concernmainly the students, to characterize a school as quality school. About the role of steakholders in education, their contribution to the implementation of quality procedures is important, which further enhances our results that the teachers used quality methods empirically. Finally, the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a process, that the teachers want in theis schools and that will contribute in the quality of provided services.

Abstract: Η παρούσα έρευνα εξετάζει τις απόψεις των εκπαιδευτικών Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης του Νομού Θεσσαλονίκης, σχετικά με τη Διοίκηση Ολικής Ποιότητας και το Κοινό Πλαίσιο Αξιολόγησης. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η έρευνά μας, προσπαθεί να απαντήσει σε τρία βασικά ερευνητικά ερωτήματα που αφορούν τα κριτήρια που πρέπει να πληροί μια σχολική μονάδα, ώστε να χαρακτηριστεί ποιοτική, το ρόλο που διαδραματίζουν οι εμπλεκόμενοι (γονείς, μαθητές, εκπαιδευτικοί, διοίκηση) στις διαδικασίες ολικής ποιότητας των σχολικών μονάδων και τα οφέλη του ΚΠΑ για την ποιότητα σύμφωνα με τους εκπαιδευτικούς του Νομού Θεσσαλονίκης.
