This thesis studies the corporate strategies followed by Tour Operators in the region of Rhodes island. The focus is on the market concentration and spatial distribution of holiday packages offered by the four largest and most commercial Tour Operators operating on the island, using defined methodology and specific indicators. This is followed by the data analysis of the airlines which are the direct partners of the Tour Operators. Tables and charts show the level of similarity regarding the strategies that Tour Operators follow. The thesis aims to be useful for tourism planners referring to destinations in the Aegean and Ionian islands, as well as Crete, but also for other destinations that are being marked by the intense presence of Tour Operators and the extended use of package holidays
