Η κατάθλιψη των ατόμων με ΣΔ2 και οι αντιλήψεις τους για το υποστηρικτικό περιβάλλον της οικογένειάς τους (Bachelor thesis)

Introduction Diabetes is a chronic illness that can be appeared in various periods of
an individual’s life.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the existence of depression and supportive
environment in patients with diabetes and the factors that affect these two variables
(depression and support).
Methodology PHQ-9 Health Questionnaire and The Diabetes Social Support
Questionnaire-Family Version (DSSQ-Family) were used to collect the research data.
Results The study involved 97 patients (46 men and 51 women). There was a
statistically significant (p <0.05) and positive (+) correlation between the dimensions
of depression and age as well as years of diabetes diagnosis. In addition, there was a
statistically significant (p <0.05) and negative (-) relationship between the dimensions
of depression and height. The part of the family intervention frequency in a number of
operations related to diabetes, the frequency of insulin injections and the frequency of
diet seemed to be significantly and positively influenced by weight and height (p
<0.05).
Conclusions Both depression and family support of these patients are affected by
different sociodemographic and clinical factors.

| Abstract: | Εισαγωγή Ο διαβήτης είναι μία χρόνια ασθένεια, που μπορεί να εκδηλωθεί σε
διάφορες περιόδους της ζωής του ατόμου.
Σκοπός της παρούσας μελέτης είναι να διερευνήσει την ύπαρξη κατάθλιψης και
υποστηρικτικού περιβάλλοντος σε άτομα με ΣΔ2 καθώς και τους παράγοντες που
επηρεάζουν τις εν λόγω δύο μεταβλητές (κατάθλιψη και υποστήριξη).
Μεθοδολογία Για τη συλλογή των ερευνητικών δεδομένων χρησιμοποιήθηκε το
Ερωτηματολόγιο υγείας PHQ-9 και το ερωτηματολόγιο The Diabetes Social Support
Questionnaire-Family Version (DSSQ-Family).
Αποτελέσματα Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν 97 ασθενείς (46 άνδρες και 51 γυναίκες).
Προέκυψε η στατιστικά σημαντική (p<0,05) και θετική (+) συσχέτιση μεταξύ των
διαστάσεων της κατάθλιψης και της ηλικίας καθώς των ετών από τη διάγνωση του
διαβήτη. Επιπλέον, προέκυψε η στατιστικά σημαντική (p<0,05) και αρνητική (-)
συσχέτιση μεταξύ των διαστάσεων της κατάθλιψης και του ύψους. Το κομμάτι της
συχνότητας επέμβασης της οικογένειας σε διάφορες πράξεις σχετικά με το ΣΔ, η
συχνότητα των ενέσεων ινσουλίνης και η συχνότητα της διατροφής φάνηκε να
επηρεάζονται στατιστικώς σημαντικά και θετικά από το βάρος και το ύψος (p<0,05).
Συμπεράσματα Τόσο η κατάθλιψη όσο και η οικογενειακή υποστήριξη αυτών των
ασθενών επηρεάζονται από διαφορετικούς κοινωνικοδημογραφικούς και κλινικούς
