Our time is marked by volatility both politically and economically. In this paper is illustrated our effort for the application of financial analysis for 2 companies that operating in the same branch, the branch of mobile telephony. Specifically it’s about the financial representation and commentary of the following companies: COSMOTE and VODAFONE. In the beginning of this paper is illustrated the definition of financial analysis and her processes. Furthermore, financial subdivisions are analyzed, with the balance sheet, the income statement, the profit distribution table and then the accounting ratios play the key role in drawing conclusions. Moreover, there are provided both details of mobile telephony and the annual financial statements for the two companies that we have mentioned before for the following years: 2013,2014,2015,2016,2017. Finally, the analysis of the financial statements lead us in the calculation and the commentary of the accounting ratios for each company and with the help of diagrams, we get to the final chapter of this paper which is the comparison of the two companies, (Cosmote and Vodafone) based on the numbers of their accounting ratios for the time period 2013-2017.
