| heal.abstract | Έχοντας να επιλέξω ανάμεσα σε πληθώρα θεμάτων δεν θα μπορούσε να μην μου κεντρίσει το ενδιαφέρον το φυτό αυτό που ακούει στο όνομα “αλόη βέρα” (aloe vera) ή αλλιώς “Aloe Barbadensis Miller”, καθώς αποτελεί τα τελευταία χρόνια επίκεντρο των συζητήσεων που αφορούν φυτικά και εναλλακτικά μέσα στο χώρο της ιατρικής αλλά και της αισθητικής. Ένα μέσο ίασης διαφόρων εξωτερικών αλλά και εσωτερικών δυσλειτουργιών του ανθρωπίνου σώματος, που χρησιμοποιείται από τα πανάρχαια χρόνια μέχρι και σήμερα, από τα απλά νοικοκυριά μέχρι τους κόλπους των μεγάλων βιομηχανιών φαρμάκων και καλλυντικών σκευασμάτων, ανά τον κόσμο. Μέσα από την πραγματοποίηση της πτυχιακής μου εργασίας, εμπλούτισα τις γνώσεις μου στον τομέα τόσο της αισθητικής όσο και της ιατρικής σε θέματα που σχετίζονται με την αλόη. Με συστηματική έρευνα και μελέτη έγκυρων και μόνο πηγών λαμβάνοντας παράλληλα υπόψη τον κίνδυνο της παραπληροφόρησης που διακατέχει το διαδίκτυο, κατάφερα να παραθέσω πληροφορίες και στοιχεία για το θέμα αυτό, παράγοντας που αποτελεί και τον σκοπό της εργασίας. Θερμές ευχαριστίες αποδίδω στον υπεύθυνο καθηγητή Δόκτωρ Χρήστο Δούκα για την πολύτιμη καθοδήγησή του στο εν λόγω εγχείρημά μου, αλλά και σε όλους εκείνους με των οποίων τη στήριξη κατάφερα να πραγματοποιήσω την εκπόνηση της πτυχιακής μου εργασίας. | el |
| heal.abstract | Aloe vera (or Aloe Barbadensis Miller) belongs to the genus of aloe, wich includes over 500 varieties. Its name derives from th Hebrew word “aloeh” wich means bitter and bright substance. Morphological it looks like a cactus but it is crinoid and thrives in arid climates. It has thick green leaves with small wite spines and yellow, orange or red flowers. Througt the leaves is contained the so-called aloe vera gel and the resin. These two contain all those ingredients that make the plant so valuable both from a pharmaceutical and cosmetic point of view. Vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids, enzymes, sugars,sterols and anthraquinones are some of the approximately 160 nutrients present in the plant. Aloe vera is used for 5000 years by different peoples and nationalities around the world and this is because the plant is gifted with excellent healing, shoothing and moisturizing actions. It is battling against skin injuries of the body but in the same time it is possible to fight many major diseases of the human body too and also to relieve their unpleasant symptoms.
