Η αντίληψη και η στάση των εκπαιδευτικών δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης Νομού Πιερίας απέναντι στο ζήτημα του σχολικού εκφοβισμού (Bachelor thesis)

School bullying has already been recognized as a serious social and educational issue and is of particular concern to the scientific and educational community. The way teachers perceive and understand the concept and dimensions of school bullying in order to play a leading role in its containment and eradication is crucial.
The present study investigates the Secondary school teachers’ perceptions and attitudes regarding the issue of school violence and bullying. The ultimate purpose of
the survey is to trace and demonstrate the significance of the views and attitudes of the educational community towards the phenomenon of school bullying, as the role of the teacher is key to preventing, dealing with and managing incidents of aggression and violence in the school environment. Ten secondary school teachers serving in Gymnasiums and High Schools of the Prefecture of Pieria participated in the survey. The qualitative approach was chosen as the research method and the research tool was the individual, semi-structured interview, while the data were processed using the method of Content Analysis. According to the results of the survey, teachers are mostly aware of the issue of bullying, recognize and understand the importance of their role and attitude, but emphasize the lack of further uninterrupted, systematic and meaningful training and education. They also support the need for a unified collective action framework through the mobilization and co-operation of all involved members, directors, headmasters, teachers as well as students, parents, and the wider community.

| Abstract: | Ο σχολικός εκφοβισμός αναγνωρίζεται πλέον ως ένα σοβαρό κοινωνικό και εκπαιδευτικό ζήτημα και απασχολεί ιδιαίτερα την επιστημονική και εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα.Ο τρόπος που προσλαμβάνουν και αντιλαμβάνονται οι εκπαιδευτικοί την έννοια και τις διαστάσεις του σχολικού εκφοβισμού είναι καθοριστικός, προκειμένου να διαδραματίσουν πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο στον περιορισμό και την εξάλειψή του.
Η παρούσα μελέτη αφορά τη διερεύνηση της αντίληψης και τη στάσης των εκπαιδευτικών Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης σχετικά με το ζήτημα της ενδοσχολικής βίας και του σχολικού εκφοβισμού.Απώτερος σκοπός της έρευνας είναι να ανιχνεύσει και να αναδείξει τη σημαντικότητα των απόψεων και των στάσεων της εκπαιδευτικής κοινότητας απέναντι στο φαινόμενο του εκφοβισμού,καθώς ο ρόλος του εκπαιδευτικού είναι ρόλος-κλειδί για την πρόληψη, αντιμετώπιση και διαχείριση περιστατικών επιθετικότητας και βίας στο σχολικό περιβάλλον. Δέκα εν ενεργεία εκπαιδευτικοί διαφόρων ειδικοτήτων, οι οποίοι υπηρετούν σε Γυμνάσια και Λύκεια του Νομού Πιερίας πήραν μέρος στην έρευνα. Ως ερευνητική μέθοδος επιλέχτηκε η ποιοτική προσέγγιση και το εργαλείο της έρευνας ήταν η ατομική, ημιδομημένη συνέντευξη,ενώ η επεξεργασία των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε με τη μέθοδο της ανάλυσης περιεχομένου. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας, οι εκπαιδευτικοί είναι στην πλειονότητά τους ιδιαίτερα ευαισθητοποιημένοι απέναντι στο θέμα του εκφοβισμού, αναγνωρίζουν και αντιλαμβάνονται τη σπουδαιότητα του ρόλου τους και της στάσης τους, υπογραμμίζουν ωστόσο την έλλειψη μιας περαιτέρω αδιάλειπτης, συστηματικής και ουσιαστικής επιμόρφωσης από ειδικούς επιστήμονες και τονίζουν την αναγκαιότητα της ύπαρξης ενός ενιαίου συλλογικού πλαισίου δράσης με την κινητοποίηση και τη συνεργασία όλων των εμπλεκόμενων μελών, των διευθυντών, των εκπαιδευτικών, των μαθητών, των γονέων, καθώς και της ευρύτερης κοινότητας.
