Nowadays the internet is one of the most basic and fast means of transmission and information and therefore businesses use internet marketing to make their products and services known and maximize their profits through it.In its simplest form,the term internet marketing is a wide area that aims to promote products and services over the internet.Modern businesses achieve their goals through the use of various internet tools. At this thesis they are presented some information on internet marketing and the most popular social media and then it analyzes some of the internet tools for businesses that needed to promote their products and services in order to increase their productivity profits and their brand recognition. Firstly, is defined the concept of internet and internet marketing ,the advantages of internet marketing are described and the popular methods of internet marketing are analyzed. Subsequently,this thesis defines the concept of social media, describes its main features and analyzes the most popular social media. Finally, it is presented and analyzed some of Google’s tools that businesses use to promote their products and services.
