Θεώρηση των αντιλήψεων των εκπαιδευτικών για την εφαρμογή της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας σε πολυπολιτισμικές σχολικές τάξεις. (Master thesis)

The present work focuses on issues related to group teaching in school classrooms that consist of a heterogeneous - in terms of cultural background - student population. It concerns the examination of teachers' views on the application of group teaching in multicultural classrooms. How informed are teachers about the subject of group teaching as a teaching method, and intercultural education, but also about their perceptions regarding the effectiveness or not of the group method and especially in multicultural classrooms.
The work includes conducting qualitative research to explore the views and knowledge of primary education teachers regarding a) the advantages of group teaching in general, b) the conditions for success of group teaching, c) the composition of working groups, d) the process of conducting group teaching, e) the contribution of group teaching to the integration of foreign students, f) the connection of group teaching with intercultural education, especially in schools with multicultural composition as well as the investigation of the above parameters depending on the age of teachers, the level of education and their years of service.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα εργασία επικεντρώνεται σε θέματα που αφορούν την ομαδική διδασκαλία σε σχολικές τάξεις που αποτελούνται από ανομοιογενή - ως προς την πολιτισμική προέλευση - μαθητικό πληθυσμό. Αφορά τη διερεύνηση των απόψεων των εκπαιδευτικών σχετικά με την εφαρμογή της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας σε πολυπολιτισμικές σχολικές τάξεις. Πόσο ενημερωμένοι είναι οι εκπαιδευτικοί στο θέμα της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας ως διδακτικής μεθόδου, και της διαπολιτισμικής εκπαίδευσης, αλλά και σχετικά με τις αντιλήψεις τους ως προς την αποτελεσματικότητα ή μη της ομαδικής μεθόδου και ειδικότερα σε πολυπολιτισμικές σχολικές τάξεις.
Η εργασία περιλαμβάνει την διεξαγωγή ποιοτικής έρευνας για τη διερεύνηση των απόψεων και των γνώσεων των εκπαιδευτικών πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης σχετικά με α) τα πλεονεκτήματα της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας γενικά, β) τις προϋποθέσεις επιτυχίας της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας, γ) τη σύνθεση των ομάδων εργασίας, δ) τη διαδικασία διεξαγωγής της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας, ε) τη συμβολή της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας στην ένταξη των αλλοδαπών μαθητών, στ) τη σύνδεση της ομαδικής διδασκαλίας με τη διαπολιτισμική εκπαίδευση, ιδιαίτερα σε σχολικές τάξεις με πολυπολιτισμική σύνθεση καθώς και τη διερεύνηση των παραπάνω παραμέτρων σε συνάρτηση με την ηλικία των εκπαιδευτικών, το επίπεδο σπουδών τους και τα έτη προϋπηρεσίας τους.
