Νέοι αγρότες και καινοτομία: η περίπτωση της περιφερειακής ενότητας Ιωαννίνων (Bachelor thesis)
Χητάς, Παύλος
The agricultural sector has always been the structural feature of Greek society as it was a key factor in the Greek economy and growth. The development of the primary sector in Greece was clearly influenced by the accession of the country to the European Union (EU) in 1981, but also by the application of the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy (CFP), which controls the framework of the agricultural sector.
Innovation is the process by which an economy can create and transform new knowledge into products, services and processes that are useful for exploitation, thus leading to a higher level of living for society and a higher value for entrepreneurς.
The purpose of this paper is to present the young farmers of the regional unit of Ioannina and the innovations they might use.
The first chapter analyzes the term innovation but also the factors that can influence it. In the second chapter, reference is made to the Common Agricultural Policy (CFP) and how this has affected the agricultural sector in Greece while the third chapter refers to the concept of the primary sector and its position in Greece. Finally, the fourth chapter refers to the position occupied by the primary sector in the prefecture of Ioannina.
